Vapofil Testing and Quality: What the Badges Mean

Quick answer

Vapofil's label says it was made in the USA in an FDA registered facility. Registration is a listing, not an approval. The sales page adds 14 badges and graphics, such as GMP, non-GMO and "Guaranteed Pure", but none names a certifier, lab or test. No independent lab report for Vapofil has been published, and the Vegetarian roundel conflicts with the gelatin on the label.

The short answer

How is Vapofil's quality checked?

As far as any buyer can see, through the maker's own process only. No independent lab report, certificate or test result for Vapofil has been published.

The label carries one quality line: "This product has been manufactured in an FDA registered facility." FDA says registration of a facility "does not denote approval" of it (FDA, Is it FDA approved). The companies that make or sell supplements are responsible for checking their own safety and labels before sale (FDA, Dietary supplements).

Our seller brief also gives a lot code and a certificate of analysis (CoA) reference. Those are seller reference codes, not lab proof, as the batch check page explains.

Badge by badge

What do the Vapofil quality badges mean?

Every badge and guarantee graphic from the brand, each with a plain one-line reading.

Registered facility (FDA) badge
Registered facility (FDA)

Matches the label line about an FDA registered facility. Registration is a listing, not FDA approval of the product.

Good Manufacturing Practice badge
Good Manufacturing Practice

A brand badge. No certifier, facility or audit report is named. Every supplement maker must follow GMP rules by law.

GMO free badge
GMO free

A brand badge with no certifying body named.

Manufacture in USA badge
Manufacture in USA

Matches the label: made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients. The countries of origin are not named.

100% natural ingredients badge
100% natural ingredients

A brand claim. Natural is not the same as safe: FDA warns that "all natural" sexual products have hidden drugs.

Five-badge row badge
Five-badge row

GMP certified, made in an FDA registered facility, natural, proudly made in the USA and non-GMO. None names a certifier.

Guaranteed pure badge
Guaranteed pure

A brand badge. No lab, test method or certificate is named.

Doctor formulated badge
Doctor formulated

A brand badge. No doctor is named on the label or the sales page.

Naturally gluten free badge
Naturally gluten free

A brand claim; the sales page FAQ also says gluten-free. No gluten ingredient is listed, and no test is named.

Dairy free badge
Dairy free

No dairy is listed on the label. It does not make the capsule vegetarian.

Vegetarian badge
Vegetarian

Contradicted by the label: the other ingredients include gelatin, an animal product. Follow the label.

100% support guaranteed badge
100% support guaranteed

A brand graphic. Our seller brief's order desk may not see CartPanda orders; keep your order email.

Money back, 100% satisfaction badge
Money back, 100% satisfaction

A brand graphic. The written terms: 60 days from purchase, after at least 30 days of use.

Satisfaction guarantee on the bottles badge
Satisfaction guarantee on the bottles

A brand image of three bottles with a gold seal. Same 60-day terms; the sales page also prints a conflicting 180-day line.

Badges describe; they do not prove. None of these 14 graphics names a certifying body, auditor, laboratory or doctor. Where a badge clashes with the label, as the Vegetarian roundel does, the label wins.

The gelatin conflict is the clearest test of the badges, and the badge loses. The shell and fillers are covered on the capsule page.

The label

What does the Vapofil label itself tell you about quality?

More than the badges do. Tap a number for each line.

Tap a number to see what that line of the label means.

  1. Serving size

2 capsules per serving, 30 servings per bottle. At the labeled 2 a day, one bottle of 60 lasts 30 days.

  2. Saw palmetto, 20 mg

Prostate trials used 320 mg a day, 16 times more, and still found little to no benefit.

  3. Wild yam, 20 mg

Its diosgenin is a lab raw material for hormones. The body cannot turn it into hormones.

  4. Sarsaparilla, 20 mg

Traditional use is grams a day. No controlled human trials support its proposed uses.

  5. Nettle leaf, 20 mg

Prostate research used nettle root, not leaf, at 300 to 600 mg a day.

  6. Boron chelate 5%, 20 mg

5% of 20 mg is about 1 mg of boron, near what food gives you. The adult upper limit is 20 mg.

  7. Tongkat ali, 10 mg (100:1)

"Equivalent to 1000mg" describes the raw root used to make it. Trials gave 100 to 600 mg of extract.

  8. Horny goat weed, 8 mg (10:1)

Made from about 80 mg of herb. The evidence is mostly from lab and animal studies.

  9. Other ingredients

Microcrystalline cellulose, gelatin and magnesium stearate. Gelatin comes from animals: not vegetarian.

  10. FDA statement

Not evaluated by the FDA. Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

  11. FDA registered facility

Registration lists a facility with the FDA. It is not an approval of the product.

A printed amount for every ingredient is a genuine quality signal, because it lets anyone compare the label with the research. Federal rules require each botanical to name its plant part, and an extract to be weighed as dried extract (21 CFR 101.36, Supplement labels). Vapofil's label does both. The word-for-word text is on the Supplement Facts page.

Why it matters

Why does lab testing matter for men's supplements?

This product category has a long record of quality problems.

Hidden drugs

Unlisted ingredients

NCCIH says products sold for sexual enhancement have been found to contain drug ingredients not on the label (NCCIH, Sexual enhancement supplements). FDA has named products hiding sildenafil-like drugs (FDA, Hidden drug notice).

Strength

Uneven tongkat ali

Of 41 tongkat ali products tested in Malaysia, only 11 met the recommended level of their marker compound (Leisegang 2022, Tongkat ali meta-analysis). See the tongkat ali page.

Metals

Mercury and lead

In two surveys, 26% and 36% of tongkat ali products held mercury above Malaysia's limit (Science.gov, Tongkat ali mercury). Some sarsaparilla products held unsafe lead levels (EBSCO, Sarsaparilla).

None of these findings concerns Vapofil directly. They show why a batch report from a named lab beats any badge.

Ask the seller

What should you ask the seller about Vapofil testing?

Ask in writing. Email [email protected], the address printed on the label. A useful request covers five points:

  • A copy of the certificate of analysis for the lot on your bottle
  • The name of the lab and the date of testing
  • Results for identity and strength of each ingredient
  • Results for heavy metals and microbes
  • The name of the manufacturer, which the label does not give

A real CoA names a lab and matches the lot on the bottle.

Summary

How does Vapofil's quality picture add up?

Mixed. The label is open and complete, which is better than many men's products. The distributor is named, with a phone number and email.

Against that, the maker is unnamed, no lab report is public, and the badges promise more than any document shows. One badge, Vegetarian, is plainly wrong. For a wider look at whether the product is genuine, read Is Vapofil legit?

FAQ

Vapofil testing FAQ

Is Vapofil third-party tested?

No third-party test of Vapofil has been published. The badges on the sales page name no lab or certifier, and our seller brief gives only reference codes. Ask the seller in writing for a certificate of analysis that names a lab and matches the lot on your bottle.

Is the Vapofil facility FDA approved?

The label says it was made in an FDA registered facility, which is not the same thing. FDA says registering a facility does not mean the agency approved it. FDA also does not approve dietary supplements for safety or effectiveness before sale.

Who certified the GMP badge on Vapofil?

Nobody is named. The sales page shows a GMP badge, but it names no certifier, audit or facility. Without that, the badge is a brand statement. Ask the seller for a copy of the certificate.

Does Vapofil contain heavy metals?

No metals test for Vapofil has been published, so nobody outside the company can say. Research has found mercury in some tongkat ali products and lead in some sarsaparilla products, which is why a lab report would be useful. Ask the seller for one.

Is Vapofil made in the USA?

The label says "Made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients." It does not say which countries the ingredients come from, and it does not name the manufacturer. The distributor is GEX Corp of Lakeland, Florida.

What does the Doctor Formulated badge on Vapofil mean?

It is a brand graphic, and no doctor is named on the label or the sales page. A badge like that cannot be checked, and it is not evidence that any doctor endorses the product.

Is Vapofil non-GMO and gluten free?

The sales page shows non-GMO and naturally gluten free badges, and the label lists no gluten ingredient. No certifier or test is named for either claim. People with celiac disease should ask the seller for test results before relying on it.
