Vapofil Side Effects: What to Watch For
Side effects reported for Vapofil's ingredients are mostly mild: stomach upset, headache or dizziness.
The bigger point is interactions: saw palmetto with blood thinners, nettle with diuretics, horny goat weed with heart conditions and tongkat ali with liver problems. Anyone on nitrates should talk to a doctor first.

The short answer
What are the known side effects of Vapofil?
For most healthy men, the risk at Vapofil's amounts is likely low. Its seven ingredients add up to 118 mg a day, and each one sits far below the doses that research has tested.
That does not mean zero risk. No study of the product exists, so nobody has counted its side effects. What we know comes from ingredient research, where reactions were usually mild: stomach upset, nausea, headache or dizziness (NCCIH, Saw palmetto) (LiverTox, Tongkat ali) (LiverTox, Horny goat weed).
The bigger questions are about who takes it. A man on blood thinners, a man with heart disease and a man on nitrates each face a different risk. Who should check first is covered on the who it's for page.
Ingredient by ingredient
Which side effects are linked to each Vapofil ingredient?
From studies and reference sources, mostly at doses many times higher than Vapofil's.
| Ingredient (label amount) | Reported side effects | Main caution |
|---|---|---|
| Saw palmetto (20 mg) | Stomach upset, diarrhea, fatigue, headache, lower libido; mostly mild (MSKCC, Saw palmetto) | May raise bruising and bleeding with warfarin (MSKCC, Saw palmetto) |
| Tongkat ali (10 mg extract) | Nausea, abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, headache, rash; uncommon (LiverTox, Tongkat ali) | Possible rare liver injury; long-term safety unclear (LiverTox, Tongkat ali) |
| Horny goat weed (8 mg extract) | Feeling hot, sweating, mood changes, fast irregular heartbeat (MSKCC, Epimedium) | Not advised with heart disease (MSKCC, Epimedium) |
| Nettle leaf (20 mg) | Generally well tolerated (LiverTox, Stinging nettle) | May add to diuretics and blood pressure drugs (MSKCC, Nettle) |
| Wild yam (20 mg) | Not well studied in men | Kidney injury in animal studies (MSKCC, Wild yam) |
| Sarsaparilla (20 mg) | No full safety studies | Some products held unsafe lead levels (EBSCO, Sarsaparilla) |
| Boron (about 1 mg) | None expected near food levels | Far below the 20 mg upper limit (NIH ODS, Boron) |
| Capsule (gelatin) | Inactive | Not suitable for vegetarians |
Two rows stand out. Tongkat ali carries a liver note, explained on the tongkat ali page. Horny goat weed carries a heart note, explained on the horny goat weed page.
On the bottle
What does the Vapofil label warn about?
The side panel holds every caution the maker prints. Tap the numbers.
- Two capsules a day
As a dietary supplement, take two (2) capsules daily. The label sets no time of day.
- 8 oz glass of water
Swallow both with a full glass of water. The sales page suggests "preferably in the morning".
- Storage
Keep away from heat, light and humidity. A cool, dry cupboard beats a steamy bathroom.
- Do not exceed
Two capsules a day is the label dose. Taking more is not on the label.
- Ask a physician first
Pregnant or nursing, under 18, or living with a known medical condition: talk to a physician before use.
- Children and seal
Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the safety seal is damaged or missing.
- Distributor
GEX Corp, Lakeland FL 33804, +1 323-372-9581, [email protected].
- Made in the USA
Made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients. The countries of origin are not named.
The label's core rules are simple: do not exceed two capsules a day, and ask a physician first if you are under 18 or have a known medical condition. The safety seal line matters too. A damaged seal means the bottle should not be used.
Medicines
Can Vapofil interact with your medicines?
Possibly. These four groups deserve a word with your doctor or pharmacist first.
Heart medicines such as nitroglycerin
Hidden ED drugs found in look-alike products can drop blood pressure dangerously with nitrates (Mayo Clinic, ED treatment) (NCCIH, Sexual enhancement supplements). Vapofil lists none, but ask first.
Warfarin and antiplatelet drugs
Saw palmetto may raise bruising and bleeding risk with blood thinners and drugs such as clopidogrel (MSKCC, Saw palmetto).
Diuretics and blood pressure pills
Animal data suggest nettle may add to these drugs, and one older man had low blood sugar on a nettle remedy (MSKCC, Nettle).
Aromatase inhibitors
Icariin, from horny goat weed, may reduce the effect of these drugs (MSKCC, Epimedium). Wild yam calls for caution with hormone-sensitive cancers (MSKCC, Wild yam).
FDA reminds buyers that supplements can interact with medicines, interfere with lab tests or cause problems during surgery (FDA, Supplements 101). Tell your surgeon about Vapofil before any operation.
Get help
When is a reaction an emergency?
Chest pain, fainting or an erection lasting more than 4 hours needs care right away. Tick what applies.
NIDDK says an erection lasting longer than 4 hours needs care right away (NIDDK, ED treatment). Even without a red flag, ED itself can be an early sign of heart disease or diabetes, which the ED guide explains.
If something feels off
What should you do if you get a side effect from Vapofil?
Stop and call
Stop taking the capsules and call your doctor or pharmacist. Bring the bottle so they can read the label.
Report it
Consumers and doctors can report a problem with a supplement to FDA (FDA, Dietary supplements). Note the date, the symptom and the lot code on the bottle.
Ask about a refund
Email [email protected] with "Refund Request" in the subject. The sales page asks for 30 days of use first, so keep the reply.
Fakes
Are look-alike products riskier than the real bottle?
Often, yes. NCCIH says supplements sold for sexual enhancement have been found to contain drug ingredients missing from the label (NCCIH, Sexual enhancement supplements). FDA warns that "all natural" products may hide high doses of prescription drugs (FDA, Health fraud tip-offs).
Look for 60 capsules, all seven printed amounts, GEX Corp of Lakeland, Florida, and "REV 10/24" on the label. If anything differs, do not take it. The batch check page lists what to look for on the base.

FAQ
Vapofil safety questions
What are the side effects of Vapofil?
No study has measured them, because the product itself has not been tested. Its ingredients, at higher doses, have caused mostly mild effects such as stomach upset, headache and dizziness. The more serious cautions involve blood thinners, heart disease, liver problems and nitrate medicines.
Can I take Vapofil with blood pressure medicine?
Ask your doctor or pharmacist first. Animal data suggest nettle may add to diuretics and blood pressure drugs. If your medicine is a nitrate such as nitroglycerin, talk to your doctor before taking any sexual health product, because look-alikes have hidden drugs that react badly with nitrates.
Is tongkat ali bad for the liver?
It can be, rarely: the NIH LiverTox database lists tongkat ali as a possible rare cause of liver injury, with long-term safety unclear. Vapofil holds 10 mg of extract, below trial doses. Anyone with liver disease should ask a doctor first, and anyone who feels unwell while taking it should stop and get checked.
Can Vapofil cause a fast heartbeat?
It has not been reported for Vapofil, but horny goat weed, one of its ingredients, has been linked to fast or irregular heartbeat. MSK advises against it for people with heart disease. Vapofil holds 8 mg of a 10:1 extract. Stop and get help for palpitations or chest pain.
Is the boron in Vapofil safe?
At about 1 mg a day it is close to what food already supplies, roughly 0.9 to 1.4 mg. The adult upper limit is 20 mg a day, and NIH says boron has no known clinically relevant drug interactions.
What if I take more than two Vapofil capsules?
The label says do not exceed the recommended dose of two capsules a day. Call your doctor or pharmacist if you took more, especially if you feel unwell or take other medicines. Get emergency care for chest pain or fainting.
Does Vapofil cause stomach upset?
It might in some men. Saw palmetto, tongkat ali and horny goat weed have each been linked to mild stomach upset, nausea or diarrhea in research. The label says to take them with an 8 oz glass of water. Stop and ask a doctor if it continues.
