What kind of product is Vapofil?
Vapofil is a capsule dietary supplement sold to adult men, 60 capsules per bottle. It is not a drug, an ED treatment or a testosterone therapy.
Does Vapofil come as capsules or another form?
Capsules only. Each white bottle holds 60 capsules, and the label serving is two capsules, so one bottle covers 30 days.
Is Vapofil a prescription drug?

Saw palmetto, wild yam, sarsaparilla, nettle leaf and boron amino acid chelate at 20 mg each, tongkat ali at 10 mg and horny goat weed at 8 mg, per two capsules.
How many milligrams of actives does a Vapofil serving hold?
Two capsules hold 118 mg of listed actives, about 59 mg per capsule.
Why is horny goat weed missing from the Inside Vapofil graphic?
We do not know. The label lists 8 mg of it, but the brand graphic and our seller brief name only six ingredients. The label is the legal record, so we follow it.
How much real boron does Vapofil contain?
About 1 mg. The label lists 20 mg of a 5% boron chelate. Most adults already get 0.87 to 1.35 mg a day from food, and the upper limit is 20 mg (NIH ODS, Boron).
Is the nettle in Vapofil root or leaf?
The label says leaf. The sales page FAQ calls it root. Prostate research used root extracts at 300 to 600 mg a day (LiverTox, Stinging nettle), so the difference matters.
What else is in a Vapofil capsule besides the herbs?
Microcrystalline cellulose, gelatin and magnesium stearate. Gelatin comes from animals, so the capsule is not vegetarian or vegan, despite a brand roundel.

Is it OK to double the Vapofil dose?
No. The label says not to exceed the recommended dose of two capsules.
Do I need to eat before taking Vapofil?
The label does not say. It only asks for two capsules with an 8 oz glass of water.

Is Vapofil safe with your health and medicines?
Can Vapofil cause side effects?
Possibly, though none were studied for the product itself. Its ingredients have been linked to mild stomach upset and headache (saw palmetto) (MSKCC, Saw palmetto), rare liver injury (tongkat ali) (LiverTox, Tongkat ali) and fast heartbeat (horny goat weed) (MSKCC, Epimedium).
Is Vapofil OK alongside blood pressure pills?
Ask your doctor first. Animal data suggest nettle may add to blood pressure drugs and diuretics (MSKCC, Nettle), and some blood pressure medicines can affect erections themselves (NIDDK, ED causes).
Is Vapofil safe with blood thinners like warfarin?
Ask first. MSK says saw palmetto may raise the risk of bruising and bleeding with warfarin and other blood thinners (MSKCC, Saw palmetto).
What if an erection lasts more than 4 hours?
Get medical care right away. NIDDK and MedlinePlus both treat an erection lasting over 4 hours as urgent (NIDDK, ED treatment) (MedlinePlus, Sildenafil).
Should I see a doctor before trying Vapofil?
Yes, if erections are the concern. ED can be an early sign of heart disease or diabetes (AUA, ED guideline) (NIDDK, ED causes), and the label asks anyone with a medical condition to consult a physician.
Who should not take Vapofil without medical advice?
Anyone under 18, pregnant or nursing, or with a known medical condition, the label says. Heart, liver or kidney disease and nitrate medicines also call for a doctor first.

What does the research say about Vapofil?
Is there any published study of Vapofil itself?
No published trial of Vapofil exists. NCCIH says there is no definite evidence that any herbal product is safe or effective for ED (NCCIH, Sexual enhancement supplements).
Does tongkat ali raise testosterone?
Research found mild rises, mainly in men with low levels, at 100 to 200 mg of extract a day (LiverTox, Tongkat ali) (Leisegang 2022, Tongkat ali meta-analysis). Vapofil lists 10 mg, and healthy men showed no significant change.
Does saw palmetto help urinary symptoms?
Probably not. A 2023 Cochrane review of 27 studies found little to no benefit at 320 mg a day (Cochrane review, Saw palmetto). Vapofil lists 20 mg.
Is horny goat weed backed by research?
Barely. Most evidence comes from lab and animal studies (MSKCC, Epimedium), and a 49-man trial of a blend found no difference from control (LiverTox, Horny goat weed).
Why does the Vapofil sales page say more than this site?
The sales page makes sexual and hormone claims we do not repeat. By law, disease claims belong to drugs alone (FDA, Structure/function claims). Each claim is checked on the sales claims page.
Is Vapofil a natural alternative to ED medicine?
No. It has no trial for ED, while prescription PDE5 inhibitors are guideline treatments (AUA, ED guideline).
